Zoo, White House (exterior), WW II Memorial
Today started with a visit to the Pandas and the Washington Zoo. The Pandas were not very accommodating, in our 3 visits to their exhibit during the day, they never moved :( Naomi was not happy, but we had a nice trip to the zoo. It was very warm, but we didn't get any rain, so we saw the whole zoo, the kids enjoyed it. After the zoo we walked to the subway and took a short trip just for the fun of it, going about 4 stops past our hotel and then doubling back.
We took a short nap and then walked to the White house to view the outside, Christmas tree and surrounding area. After the White House, we walked to the WWII Memorial, which was really nice. We then stopped for hotdogs from a street vendor and some funky ice cream before walking back to the hotel.
