We went from Kamloops to Banff. It was a pretty drive, with some wildlife. We got a really close look (within 50 feet) of a black bear and a goat/sheep? It was cool, also saw a pair of bald eagles, and some elk/moose? It was a slow trip due to the hills / mountains, but was a easy ride. Katie said her most enjoyable moment was this morning when I put on my pull-over sweater with the coat hanger still in it. When we got to Banff we called the hotel, who told us we were in the wrong town. I made the reservation over the internet, and apparently it was in the area but a different town (Canmore). So we are 20 miles closer to home.

We passed the half way point in Oregon, have now gone more than 5000 miles. Tomorrow will be a travel day, with the next day at Yellowstone.
