Day 4 of 12
Today was not a good day. We started out good, going to The Original in Pittsburgh for a Kraut dog and fries. Then we cruised up to Buffalo and went to the Anchor Bar for wings and met Howie & family, Lee & hubby. After wings we went out and looked over our NB. Then the 3 NBs started to cruise over to Niagara Falls. At the border, we stopped with all 3 NBs for the traditional photo shot. Afterwards, my driver's side window would not go up. It seemed to come off the track. Since we could no longer secure the car, the sightseeing & everything for the day was over:)
We went to the Falls, and Katie stayed with the car, we took a few pictures and walked the path along the falls. We then went to the UFO restaurant and met up with Tom & his wife and their tubby-bug, it was cool. After dinner we went to Howie's and attempted to fix the window. We were able to get it half way up, but no more. About 11:30pm we gave up and called it a night.
Because we couldn't secure the car and needed to take it to the dealer in the morning, I am not sure about the rest of our schedule. I also was concerned about staying at a hotel with a unsecured car. Howie opened his house to us and provided use with a place to spend the night.
So we are spending the night at the " Howie Inn". Thanks Howie!!!
