Corpus Christi February, 2001

These are the rest of the pictures of the King Ranch.

Then we went to Mission, Texas, to see a working mission .  Chapilla De La Lomita.  This was tiny church, not at all what we expected.  It was cute though.

Then we headed to the Mexico Boarder.  Mitch wanted a picture of Angelisa at the boarder, but that was impossible, since it is on a bridge.  We did walk across the bridge, but Mitch didn't want to walk around over there, so we just left.

Then it was off to Port Isabel to see a light house.  We got to the light house around 4:15, but it was already closed for the day. :(  Took some pictures of the outside of the light house.  We then went to South Padre Island, just to see the beach.  Then Mitch bought some longhorns on are way back to the hotel

Sunday February 4

We went to the USS Lexington Navy Museum.  This was a huge ship.  So much walking and so much to see.  Very nice.  Then we had lunch at the Huge Whataburger.  It had a plaque inside of it in memory of the Whataburger founder.  A really cool fast food restaurant
