Tiny
Angel From:
Inez E Hendrix <mscricket@juno.com> |
|
I
am a tiny angel I'm
smaller than your thumb: I
live in people pockets That's
where I have my fun. I
don't suppose you've seen me, I'm
too tiny to detect: Though
I'm with you all the time, I
doubt we've ever met. Before
I was an Angel... I
was a fairy in a flower: God,
Himself, hand-picked me, And
gave me Angel power. Now
God has many Angels That
He trains in Angel pools: We
become His eyes, and ears, and hands We
become His special tools. And
because God is so busy, With
way too much to do; He
said that my assignment Is
to keep close watch on you. When
He tucked me in your Pocket He
blessed you with Angel care; Then
told me to never leave you, And
I vowed always to be there. THE
POWER OF PRAYER This
is all you have to do. There is nothing attached. Just send this to four
people and let me know what happens on the fourth day. Do not break this,
please. Prayer
is one of the best free gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot of
reward. Let's continue praying for one another. |

Mitch, I
have been off the list for several months so I was heartbroken to read
your message on the list. I have three kids and it would be absolutely
unfathomable to think that I would ever lose one of them. My only nephew
was killed in a traffic accident on April 3rd and it was such a tremendous
shock to me that I can't possibly imagine how you must feel. I am so sorry
for your loss. I
noted that you mentioned a needing a scanner. I have one in the box that I
picked up for my mother-in-law. She never used it, but it's been shipped
back and forth from KY to TX. It's a Microtek parallel port scanner so it
will fit just about any computer. I would be honored to send it to you so
you can work on more pictures. If you'll only send me your address, it
will be on its way. My
thoughts and prayers, Jim

do I remember Woodburn last year. I
have Katie's photo from that day, when she was sitting in the front seat

After you lost Katie I got the photo out and put it in a frame and
set it on an end table in the living room.
I just wanted to feel closer to her. I
remember how much she was punching you that day, your poor arm!
You were so tired you looked like you were sleep walking, and then
she'd up and punch you again. Rolland

thinking of you both. take

[NewBug]
western caravan (while in Albuquerque)R2K From:
JNLHANKINS@aol.com |
|
Hello
Everyone, This
is a letter that I wrote to Jamie (western caravan leader). If you are
going to be in the western caravan and would like to join us, please let
me know so that I can reserve a big enough space for all of us. Please
e-mail me back at: PUFFTHETDIBEETLE@AOL.COM Hi, My
name is Lindale Hankins, I live in Albuquerque, NM. The reason for this
mail is to find out what you think about the western caravan all meeting
up for dinner at my parents restaurant (a pizza place) on Thursday
night. I have spoken with my dad about taking half if not more of the
revenues brought in by the caravan, and donating it to Mitch's late
daughter Katie's fund. He said that he would be more than happy to donate
it. The restaurant is not very far from Hotel Circle, which I understand
is where everyone from the western caravan is staying (maybe 3 or so miles
away). I also think that it would be a fun place to meet up, play some
video games, and eat pizza. Its Peter Piper Pizza, in case you were
wondering. I think you guys have those in Ca. right? Well, he said that he
would leave me a blank check in his office so that I can make it out that
night and tell everyone how much money we all came up with. I will be
going out to Roswell very early Saturday morning, in order to make it to
the show in time to set my car up. I was hoping that you or maybe David
Allen could present it at the show, or maybe at the party Sat. night.
Please let me know what you think of this idea. Also about how many people
we are expecting in the western caravan. I
have also spoken to Judy & Bilbo about this, also David A. they both
were in favor of it. Thank you for taking the time to read this e-mail.
Please let me know if this will be something you would like to do with the
caravan as well. Sincerely, Lindale
& Jeff Hankins &, Puff --98

From: mitch@perrysys.com |

One
year ago today Katie & I started our 18 day road trip. It was a
wonderful trip with virtually no problems. Over 8500 miles across country
and up into Canada, including 2 VW car shows in Oregon & Chicago and
meets with over 100 New Beetle people all across the country. Starting
at 4:30am est we traveled from Roswell, NM to Dallas Tx including one stop
in Vicksburg, MS at the Civil War battlefields. Once in Dallas we met a
great group of NB people. You
can read about our trip and see the over 2000 pictures at the following
web site: http://www.perrysys.com/Beetle/CrossCntry99RoadTrip.html Also,
I updated our site with many new pictures of Katie, almost all the email
I have received about Katie from the first month after her death. http://www.perrysys.com/Katie/Angel.html There
are also new pictures of Angelisa with the angels painted on her hood and
hatch as Katie had planned. http://www.perrysys.com/beetle.html Hope
everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day weekend, be safe and enjoy your
families while you can. Say thank you to those you know in uniform for
protecting our shores. Mitch -- "Angelisa

Dear
Mitch, Thank
you for your special message this morning.
I remember this trip well. I was so excited to have ya'll here in
LA. I remember Katie helped
me with the Science Fair last year. We
had a great time! I'm glad I
got to spend this time with her. (Our
Science Fair was canceled this year due to a very busy schedule at the end
of the year and we are having an Evening of the Arts in it's place.) Mitch
have a beautiful Memorial Day weekend and I am giving praise for those who
protect our country and given part of their lives to see that our country
be safe. I also emphasis this
everyday in the classroom, students today need to remember this!
They are way to unfamiliar with WARS!
That's a good thing but it's a raised awareness that they have to
understand! Thank
again for your message! Lots
of Love to you and have another safe journey...enjoy! @nnie |
