Katie, like to write poetry, like many young girls, she had many poems in journals at home, but these poems she left on my laptop from our trips together. These were all changed last on August 26,1999.
The
One
He’s the
one who makes me smile when I’m sad
He’s the
one who makes me laugh when I’m mad
He’s the
one who dries my tears when I cry
He’s the
one who’s lips I kiss before I say, “Good-bye”.
He’s the
one who sees me when I’m sick
He’s the
one who holds me tight when I’m cold
He’s the
one who sees me without make-up and still thinks I’m pretty
He’s the
one who can brighten up my darkest day
He’s the
one who brings joy to my life with every word and touch
He’s the
one who has given me so much
He’s the
one that can look at me and I feel love
He’s the
one who treats me like a lady
He’s the
one who I miss when were apart
He’s the
one who’s always in my heart
He’s the
one who couldn’t be replaced
He’s the
one whose memory can’t be erased
He’s the one I want
He’s the one I need
He’s the one I want to grow old
with
He’s the one I love and without him
I wouldn’t be complete
Because he’s my everything
Because simply he’s the one
He Knows
He knows how to make her blush
He knows how to make her smile
He knows when she’s been crying
He knows when she’s mad
He knows how to get to her
He knows all her spots
He knows how to purr just the right way to effect her
He knows she’s like a delicate rose
He makes her feel like a princess
He knows she has the softest skin
He knows she has the softest lips
He knows no one can replace her
They know they will never forget each other
Mr. Right
He doesn’t have to be 6’2, Blonde hair, blue eyes
and built
He doesn’t have to have a lot of money
Nor drive a sports car
Nor be upper class
He doesn’t have to be a certain color
He doesn’t have to be a certain religion
All he has to do is treat me right
Treat me like I’m a princess
Like a china doll on a pedestal
Know that when I say, “ Stop”, he does
Respects me, cares for me, protects me
Knows when I’m happy, sad, need to talk, and
understand when I don’t want to
Will give my space and understand when I need to be
with my friends
Won’t be jealous when I hug another guy
Knows everything about me
I can look at him and he knows what I’m thinking
without saying a word
He should be intelligent and funny
We should be able to talk about anything and
everything
We should be able to trust each other completely
We shouldn’t lie to each other
My
New Year’s resolutions are….
1)
Eat less meat
2)
Eat more veggies
3)
Eliminate all sugar, caffeine, fructose, and anything else of that nature from
my diet.
4)
Go to the gym 4 days a week
5)
Get a decent and well paying job
6)
Make better grades
7)
Be less forward w/certain guys.
8)
Be more upfront open and honest with everyone
8)
Let my hair grow past my shoulders
9)
Eat better
10)
Be myself…
