New York Vacation June 20, 2005

NYC

Today we started a little late, had the free breakfast at the hotel and then headed for NYC around noon. We got to the city, checked into the hotel and then started sightseeing. We walked to the library a few blocks away where the original Winnie the Pooh was on display and then walked to Central Park. We took a carriage ride through the park. We then walked to Radio City Music Hall, and Rockefeller Center and on to Times Square. After a trip to the Hershey Chocolate store, we walked to the Empire State Building. The lines were long and it took about an hour before we finally reached the observation deck. The kids enjoyed it, I think Donald's highlight was seeing the Statue of Liberty.

From the Empire State Building, we took a taxi to 54 street and walked another block to the Disney Store, Tiffany's and FOA Schwarz. We then walked to a local diner and back to the hotel.
